Beware of Banshees is een festival voor ruige muziek dat gendernormen aan diggelen slaat in de Nijverheid. Deze vijfde editie hebben we een volle dag harde acts op 3 podia, diversiteit-inspirerende workshops, een inclusie panel, een banshee tattoo parlor en nog veel meer. Kortom, een inspirerende dag met hele vette bands.
De eerste acts zijn inmiddels bekend. Maak je klaar voor farty Rave Rock duo Cowboy Hunters (UK), Grunge Post-Hardcore cuties Be N!ce (UK), Post-Punk Power band TRUT en Heavy Punk instigators van dit festival: Rats and Daggers. Daarnaast slaan we de handen weer ineen met Boot122 om even flink te ontladen bij The Worst Karaoke.
Dit jaar hebben we weer gratis workshops, waaronder skateboarden voor volwassenen met Skatepark Utrecht en Blue Tomato en leer How To Grunt met Cheyenne Vankan.
En dat is nog maar de helft! Komende maanden worden de andere 4 acts, het inclusie panel, onze banshee tatoeëerders en verdere workshops bekendgemaakt.

For the fifth edition of Beware of Banshees we are coming back to the beautiful cultural safehaven de Nijverheid in Utrecht with a full day of loud AF on 2 stages, diversity inspiring workshops, a tattoo parlor and much more. For those who believe in Beware of Banshees – the true banshees – early birds are now for sale! The fourth edition sold out, so don’t miss out ;).
Previous editions have featured bands as BOMBSTRAP, C’est Qui, PEUK, Ontaard, Rats and Daggers, Library Card and much more. So you better believe the next edition is going to be sick as well.
