Laurie Drew

I first started painting in Bristol at a parents friends Atelier, my parents were both actors so my early years were spent in theatre’s and studios following my parents work or at the atelier painting and creating a mess with all the furniture at my disposal.

Following Art school in Australia I spent some years travelling the country as a photographer. After some time painting in New Zealand I found myself in Utrecht working with a group of local artists in a disused bike repairshop in the centre of town. In my work I try to find adventure through energy colour and flow, to create and find some mystery, a journey within the work.
